The Municipal Master Plan (PDM) of Câmara de Lobos is a territorial management instrument that defines the rules for land use, occupation, and transformation throughout the municipality. The plan was approved by Resolution no. 4/2002/M, published in the Diário da República, I Série-B, no. 291, on December 17, 2002. The responsibility for the preparation, updating, and management of the PDM lies with the Municipal Council of Câmara de Lobos, which deposited it with the Regional Directorate for Spatial Planning (DROTe), under the terms established in Regional Legislative Decree no. 18/2017/M, of June 27, namely in its Article 163, which defines the legal requirements for the deposit of territorial management instruments.
